Albert Guerry Buehman

December 26, 1944 — May 15, 2026

Guerry Buehman took his last ride into the Arizona sunset on May 15, 2026.

Guerry will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a wicked-smart force of nature, quick to make friends and tell stories. His love of Arizona and the American West led him to explore every back road and hiking trail he could find on a map. His idea of heaven was a touring bike, a shade tree in the desert, and a cold beer. He had an insatiable curiosity about the natural world, a love of good food, and exceptional skill with a Weber grill. His love of music started at the piano at age six but soon turned to the guitar — preferably playing his Martins with a friend or two.

Guerry’s accomplished aerospace engineering career spanned 50 years, most of them at Honeywell Engines. He could build anything, fix anything, and solve any problem. Many sought his guidance and advice.

Most importantly, he was a devoted husband and partner to Andrea, dad to Alissa and father-in-law to Taylor, Pop to Noah and Charlotte, and brother to Coila. He was an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He did not suffer fools.

A gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Buehman home.
