Alexandra Violet Payerli

Alexandra Violet Payerli, lovingly known as Lexie, passed away tragically on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 35 in Fountain Valley, California. Born in Elgin, Illinois, and raised in Arlington Heights, moved to Gilbert, AZ with her mom and Lexie eventually made Santa Ana, California her home.

Lexie earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Northern Illinois University and held a strong connection to both her faith and the natural world. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life including dancing, listening to music, and spending time by the ocean. Lexie lived boldly and authentically, always following her own path. She had an incredible ability to bring light into every room she entered with her infectious smile, quick wit, and a sense of humor that left a lasting mark on everyone she met. Her love was unconditional, her laughter contagious, and her spirit unforgettable.

She is survived by her mother, Lynne (David) Triana; her father, Peter (Janet) Payerli; her brother, Lance Payerli; and her stepsiblings Sabrina Brinza, Nina Hetzel, Stephanie Triana, David Triana, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

To honor Lexie’s life and her compassionate heart, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in her memory. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.

We knew little that morning.

That God would call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

You left us many memories.

Your love is still our guide.
