Angela Douglas Parnell

Angela (Douglas) Parnell (52) of Phoenix, AZ passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2026.

 She was born March 9, 1974 in Elkhart, Indiana. She spent her childhood in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa and Pennsylvania graduating from Southmoreland High School in 1992. She attended The George Washington University in DC, transferred to Florida State and graduated with a Masters degree in social work in 1997. 

While working as a social worker in North Carolina, she met Kevin Parnell and they were married on September 11, 1999. They lived in South Carolina and then Florida where she continued her career as a social worker and then as a momma to their three children.  They have lived in the Phoenix, Arizona area since 2008. Angela worked for Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy for over 10 years, while staying very involved in her kids’ school activities and volunteering for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

 She was a voracious reader and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Her family was her number one priority, but she always went out of her way to care for others and was deeply loved by everyone. 

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her three children Regan, Chase and Karinne; her parents, Bob & Judy Douglas; her brothers, Jonathan Douglas and Andrew Douglas, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives, and countless friends. 

She will be deeply missed by all.
