Angie D. Blanco, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Born on May 31, 1940, in the close-knit community of Tiger, Arizona, Angie was a beacon of love and resilience throughout her 86 years.
The daughter of Antonio Dominguez and Geronimo Garcia, Angie grew up surrounded by the warmth of a large, loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Joe Angel Blanco, her parents, and her sisters Jaime Craig, Christiana Mungia, Theodora Leal, and Maria Elena. Despite these profound losses, Angie remained a pillar of strength and encouragement to her family.
Angie dedicated her professional life to serving others. She worked tirelessly for the State of Arizona at the Arizona Development for the Disabled, where she was a compassionate advocate and a source of inspiration for her colleagues and those she served. After 32 years of dedicated service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and commitment.
Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she leaves behind a loving legacy in her children: Rafael Alejandro Blanco and his wife Lorna, Irma Rosa Trevino and her husband Manuel, Guadalupe Maria Contreras and her husband Jacinto, Gracie Blanco, and Irma Monica Moreno and her husband Eric. Angie’s love and wisdom will also be cherished by her ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of generosity and warmth.
Angie’s Life will be celebrated on Monday, October 5, 2026, with a Viewing at 8:00 am at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston Street, Chandler, AZ 85225. Interment will be held at the Florence Cemetery, 300 Salazar Street, Florence, AZ 85132.
Her family invites those who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Angie’s own spirit of giving.
Angie D. Blanco will be remembered as a woman of great strength, unwavering love, and a heart full of grace. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
