In Loving Memory of Betty Doyal

Betty Mae Doyal, aged 83, passed away on April 28, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 14, 1940, in Ohio.  

After graduating from Fairborn High School, she married the love of her life, Leo Doyal and began their life’s adventures.  

Betty and Leo moved to Albuquerque, NM right after Leo completed his Air Force service. There they raised their three children, Cheryl, Leo, and Roy.  Betty dedicated a large part of her time to raising the children and providing a loving and caring home in which to grow up.

Betty had a rewarding career with the Department of Energy for twenty years.  She worked mostly on the Kirtland Airforce base in Albuquerque. 

Betty’s hobbies over the years were in the Arts.  She enjoyed ceramics, painting, and needle crafts for many years.  In her later years, she was an avid puzzle builder and enjoyed several games to keep her mind sharp. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leo A. Doyal, and her eldest daughter Cheryl Jaramillo.  It brings us happiness to know they are reunited again.  Betty leaves behind her two sons, Leo Doyal and wife Rana, and Roy Doyal and wife Molli.  She was extremely proud of her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  The thoughts of them brought her joy every day.

Services will be in Chandler, AZ where Betty was residing for the past 4 years. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm, at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ, 85225, followed by a dinner at a local restaurant. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to one of Betty’s favorite charities: Ronald McDonald House, St Jude Children Hospital, Easter Seals or Shriners Hospital.
