Bruce Maynard Gunderson

Bruce M. Gunderson of Apache Junction, Arizona passed away on March 5 ,2026 at the age of 85. Bruce was born on September 10, 1940 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Harold and Hannah. 

Harold and Hannah moved with their 12 children to Ohio where Bruce graduated and joined the Navy. Bruce was stationed in Hawaii. Bruce married the love of his life Judy Hansell. They moved to Arizona with their son Mark. Bruce worked for Asarco Mines and later retired as a Haul driver.

Bruce enjoyed going to church, and hanging out with friends and family. Bruce was quite the story teller, you never knew if you could believe what he was telling you. He had a kind heart and was very thoughtful. He loved watching Court TV and Dateline. Bruce holds a special place in everyone's heart and will be missed dearly.

Bruce was proceeded in death by his wife Judy, his parents Harold and Hannah and his 11 siblings. Bruce is survived by his son Mark (wife) Angela and their 4 children, Taylor, Tanner, Tyler, and Tatum, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
