With deep love and gratitude, we remember Carol Ann Rasmussen Jenkins, who was born on June 8, 1942, and passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026.
Carol married the love of her life, Larry Jenkins, in Sparta, Wisconsin, and together they shared 63 years of marriage built on love, partnership, and devotion.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Jenkins; her three children, Carrie (Tim) Collins, Shelly (Glen) Harrison, and Kirk (Debbie) Jenkins; her four grandchildren, Trenton Collins, Chad (Jessica) Harrison, Holly (Jake) Bennett, and Jack Jenkins; and her four great-grandchildren, Cade, Jase, Cole, and Blake.
Carol lived a life defined by adventure, creativity, and togetherness. She found pure joy riding Razors through the open desert, embracing the freedom of wide skies and dusty trails. Her adventurous heart also carried her around the world, where she delighted in discovering new places, cultures, and experiences. No matter how far she traveled, she always returned with stories, laughter, and a deep appreciation for life.
Some of her happiest moments were spent fishing— and enjoying the simple beauty of nature. She was also a gifted seamstress, creating with care and precision, pouring love into every stitch. In Montana, Carol was the heart of unforgettable gatherings at the pond, hosting parties filled with laughter, shared meals, and memories that will be cherished forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lila Rasmussen; her sister, Jean Kempfer; her grandson, Ryan Collins; and her great-grandson, Dax Harrison.
Above all else, Carol loved deeply and lived fully. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and joyful presence will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
