On October 4th, 2026, our hearts were forever changed as we said goodbye to a truly extraordinary woman. A remarkable wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and amazing friend. Chantel leaves behind a legacy of love, unforgettable laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever.
Chantel’s greatest love was her family. She was a loving wife to Ron and a fiercely devoted mother to her sons, Jaxon and Mason. They were her world, her greatest pride, and her reason why. She loved them with her whole heart and would have moved mountains for them.
Anyone who knew Chantel knew she had a personality that was impossible to forget. She was funny, sarcastic, outspoken, and unapologetically herself. She had a way of saying exactly what everyone else was thinking but was too afraid to say. She never lacked an opinion, whether you asked for it or not, you were probably going to hear it. But that was Chantel, and it was one of the countless reasons we loved her.
She was the friend who became family. The one you could call at any hour, laugh until you cried with, or simply sit beside when words weren’t enough. She knew the beautiful parts of life, the messy parts, and everything in between.
Chantel had a gift for making ordinary moments unforgettable. Life with her was filled with laughter, sarcasm, inside jokes, and stories that will be told for years to come. She was the heart of her home and source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love for those closest to her. Her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness for Ron, Jaxon, Mason, and everyone blessed to have known her. There will be countless moments when we wish we could pick up the phone, hear her laugh, ask her for advice, or share something ridiculous with her. And knowing Chantel, she would probably tell us to stop crying, pull ourselves together, and laugh about something completely inappropriate in her honor.
Jaxon and Mason will carry their mother’s strength, humor, and love throughout their lives. Ron will forever carry the beautiful memories of the life they built together. Her family and friends will carry her stories, traditions, laughter, and all the little pieces of her that made her unforgettable. Chantel’s life was not measured by the years she was given but by the love that she shared, the laughter she created, and the lives she touched.
She loved fiercely. She laughed loudly. She spoke honestly. She showed up for the people she loved, and she left an imprint on our hearts that time will never erase. Although, our hearts are shattered, we will spend the rest of our lives grateful that we got to love her and most importantly that we were loved by her.
Chantel is survived by her loving husband, Ron Meeker; their two sons Jaxon and Mason. Parents: Terry Anderson (Terri McKendrick), Melody Lund, and John Naylor. Siblings: Aaron Johnson, Jermy (Maggie) Naylor, Michael (Trinity) Anderson, and Marcie (Layne) Gregersen. And many cherished family members and friends. Until we meet again, Chantel, you will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of us.
