Charles Austin Parvin, 71, was born on May 23, 1954, in Miami, Florida, with his twin sister. He passed away on February 13, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, following a long illness.
Charles served as a police officer in Miami and Miami Shores, Florida, before continuing his career with the Greeley, Colorado Police Department. Later, he transitioned into private contracting work. He was deeply devoted to his many chihuahuas, cherished his lifelong friendships, and held a special love for his family. In his later years, he often spoke of returning to Florida in retirement—a place he always considered home.
He is survived by three of his four children. He was preceded in death by his wife and youngest son. He is also survived by his sister, Celia Carnes (Jack) of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother, Philip Parvin (Sue) of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi; and his twin sister, Linda Parvin Hutchinson (Ken) of Orlando, Florida.
His family finds comfort in Psalm 73:26: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
A private family service will be held in Orlando, Florida.
