Cotis Pouges

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cotis Pouges Jr., a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Cotis will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the lives he touched, and the memories he leaves behind.


Cotis is survived by his loving mother, Sarah, and his siblings Robbie, David and Kenneth, who will forever cherish his memory. He now joins his father, Cotis Pouges Sr., and his beloved brother, Anthony, in eternal peace.


Above all, Cotis was a proud father to his five sons: Devante, Alonzo, Isiah, Jelani, and Amari. He also leaves behind their spouses and partners, who became an important part of his extended family. His greatest joy continued through his grandchildren: Jade, Koa, Wesley, Harlem, and Markell, with another precious grandson expected to arrive in September—a blessing that will carry on his legacy.


Cotis had a deep passion for sports that was impossible to miss. He was a lifelong and devoted fan of the Michigan Wolverines, the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Game days were more than just watching sports—they were opportunities to spend time with those he loved most. One of his greatest joys was passing that passion on to his sons.


Cotis’s life was defined by the love he shared with his family. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on through the generations he helped shape and the countless memories held close by those who loved him.


He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. May he rest in eternal peace.
