Debbie Anne (Nafts) Deverill

Debbie Anne (Nafts) Deverill

was a kind and loving woman, who after a vigorous battle withcancer, passed away on Sunday evening, November 24, 2019. We, the many, who loved her

are heartbroken.

Debbie Anne was born on November 7, 1958, in Big Timber, MT. She attended Huntley Project and Shepherd schools, graduating from Shepherd High School in 1977. Debbie was active in

school with cheerleading. She would often reminisce about the times she was the manager for the boys’ track team with her best friend, Dianne. I am sure there are some interesting stories

during those days. She was well liked by all students, especially her classmates. After graduation, Deb worked as a clerk for Billings News.

Deb met the love of her life, Taun Deverill, and they married on July 27, 1985. She and Taun have spent the last 20 years in Gilbert, AZ. In those years as a chief executive homemaker, she

has taken care of her family back home and her friends near and far with tremendous love and care. She always made sure she made everyone’s lives easier, happier and better. She cared

for everyone often at her own expense and with no regard for her personal needs. She loved that much. Deb had an incredible love for all living creatures. She has four cats that she adored

and spoiled – Max, Hunter, Rocky and Salem. They will miss her dearly. Debbie enjoyed craft shows and trying new things. She loved the local theater and also enjoyed traveling. Her last trip

was to visit the Grand Canyon by train. Her most recent conversations were about this trip, and the beautiful train ride she experienced with Taun.

Deb was the family baker. She loved to cook and bake, which she mastered. Deb learned her baking skills from her mother, who she loved and respected dearly. Everyone benefited from the

results of Debbie’s time in the kitchen. We looked forward to her fresh made rolls and amazing desserts at all gatherings, and especially during the holidays. Many of us believe the goodies

were so good because of the love that Debbie put into her baking.

Debbie Anne is survived by her loving husband, Taun U. Deverill; sister, Pamela Jean (Robert) Davidson; mother-in-law, Pat Deverill; brother in law, Kelly (Pat) Deverill; aunt, Tena (Harlow)

Christensen; plus uncles and cousins from both the Reich and Nafts family. Preceding her in death were her mother, Katie; father, Robert; and two nephews Travis and Kent Davidson.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the spring in Billings.
