Deedra Jaylaun Treat
Deedra Jaylaun Treat passed away on August 25th, 2023 in an accident.
Deedra was born in Escondido, California on March 19th, 1970 to Vera Marie Burroughs and the late John Harley Burroughs.
They lived in California until she was six, and then moved to Firth, Idaho. In 1984 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she attended high school, modeling school, and started working at America West Airlines.
On October 7th, 1998 she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Taylor Marie Pugliese.
While working for America West, she met her best friend and the love of her life, Marcus Treat. On September 16th, 2005 they were married.
Deedra was an adventurer. She loved everything outdoors including hiking, kayaking, roller skating, bicycling, camping, and hunting. She also loved concerts and TV shows, especially ‘Yellowstone’. She cherished her friends and family and she made friends easily. Most of all, she loved her husband Marcus, her dog Tucker, and her grandson River.
She is preceded in death by her Father John Burroughs, and her sister Deborah Lynn Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00 am at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Chapel, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
