Denise Bonet Ayala
passed away suddenly on December 3
rd
2020 in Gilbert, Arizona at the age of 49. Born in 1970, she was raised in the Bronx with her two sisters.
Denise was a strong confident woman who, from a young age, strived to be successful in all that she did. That strength is what pulled her through many difficult times in her early life.
Graduating from Harry S Truman HS, which is where she first met and became friends with her now husband (Fernando Ayala, Jr). Together they waded through the milestones of young adulthood until their friendship turned into much more. Throughout their 28 yrs. together they raised two incredible sons, Leon and Zachary, as well as several fur-babies, including Bella and Bazinga.
She was an avid reader which helped as she worked hard to get her Bachelor of Science in Business while working full time. She was a consummate professional and a loyal employee evidenced by the 19yrs she spent working for the H&R Block organization. First, in New York and then, for the past 3 yrs in Arizona.
Denise was loved by all those who got to know her, she had an ironic sense of humor and a “New York” attitude that was honest and refreshing to her friends. Her family was the most important part of her life and she was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first.
Denise is survived by her husband Fernando, her sons Leon and Zachary, sisters Jacqueline and Suzanne, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, December 12
th
in Arizona with a service in New York City to be held at a later time.
