My Dear sweet Mom passed away 5/18/2021. She was 85 years old.  Born and raised in Seattle Washington, Came to AZ four years ago to stay with her daughter Leigh Anne.   We always thought mom would live to be 90! She was A fun loving person, a go getter and loved by all that knew her and that infectious smile.

My mom loved animals but especially had a soft heart for cats. She at one time had 8 cats. She was the lady always feeding stray animals, always helping charities donating money for the animals, She was that kind sole feeding those stray cats outside her work by the dumpster at midnight making sure the animals were ok.  My mom also loved the Mountains.  One of her favorite places was Mt Rainer. She Also loved our Superstition Mountains and visits to Tombstone, Az.  My Mom is a October girl October and Halloween anything spooky my mom loved.

October was a big time in our family lots of fun.

We lost our dear sweet mom on 05/18/2021

There will be a viewing at Bueler Mortuary at 11:00am 05/20/2021.  My Mom will then be cremated and her remains will be brought home to Renton, Wash. Graveside services will be held July 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Green wood funeral home where she will then be laid to rest with her father.

Dixie is survived by her loving daughters Leigh Anne Cole & Joyce Cole.  Grandchildren  Brittanee Wheaton, Justin Russell, Stephen Doster, Derek Doster.  Everyone that knew our sweet mom light a candle for her, or drink a glass of Chardonnay for her.   We love you Mom, you will forever be missed and in our hearts ~
