Donald J Browning

Donald J Browning, 87, of Chandler Arizona passed away on May 8, 2023.  Don was born on July 31, 1935 in Lineville, Iowa and moved with his parents Wayne and Kathleen Browning to Des Moines, Iowa when he was young.  He attended North High School and met his future and forever bride Dorothy a few years later. He was an Army veteran and became an excellent carpenter and woodworker. He and Dorothy moved to Arizona in 1988 where they owned a small business in Tempe until they retired.  He is survived by his daughter Jill Kelly and son Jon Browning who also live in Arizona.  He is also survived by his 3 granddaughters, Emily Graham, Elida Maze and Kaitlyn Kelly.  Don is predeceased by his sister Diane Werner from McPherson, KS. He was a beloved father and grandfather and generously taught us all so much.  He will be greatly missed by all who love him.  Don will be laid to rest on May 23, 2023 and join his wife Dorothy at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
