February 16, 1958 – July 19, 2021, Douglas W. Barbian, 63, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away July 19, 2021. Douglas was born on February 16, 1958, in Milwaukee, son of the late Eugene and Carol (Racine) Barbian. He grew up in Caledonia WI and also lived in Oak Creek WI for a while before moving to Arizona. Douglas was a senior project manager working in the IT field for many years. While maintaining an IT career he also volunteered in his spare time at the Oak Creek Police Department for 5 years. After his time as an auxiliary officer, he moved his way up to Police and Fire Commissioner of which he completed a four-year term. Some of his hobbies include riding his Harley motorcycle, singing karaoke, and doing anything outdoors in the warm weather. Douglas is survived by his son Donn Barbian, his sister Linda Barbian, Brother Dave (Peggy) Barbian, sister Barb (Glen) Guckenberger, sister Jane Barbian and sister Janet Brown. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
