Duane Herbert Rader

, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Duane is survived by his wife of 37 years Jean Utter Rader, Sister Chloe Groeber, daughters Tammi Abbey, Terri Ayala, stepsons Steve Utter, Robert Utter, with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Duane move to Tempe in 1947 from Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. Duane is a St. Mary’s High School graduate, class of 1954. He retired after 39 years with SRP.  Duane is preceded in his death by his parents Edward and Mrytle Rader, Brother Edward Rader and Sister Barbara Rader Miers. Duane had a kind heart and gentle soul with an enduring Catholic faith. Duane enjoyed sports, horses and his grand and great grandchildren. Duane will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Viewing and rosary will be held on Thursday, February 3rd at 6:00 pm at Bueler Chandler Mortuary. Funeral services and mass on Friday, February 4th at 10:00 am at Juan Diego Catholic Church, Chandler, Arizona.
