Elayne Marlene Yeoman

May 30, 1937 — Oct 12, 2026

Elayne (Tootie) Marlene Yeoman was baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on Monday, October 12, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Clarence “Tom” Yeoman for 66 years, until his passing.

Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Tootie and Tom moved to several locations around the country before finally settling in Florissant, Missouri, where they made their home for 45 years. Together, Tootie and Tom shared many cherished years and created countless treasured memories. After Tom’s passing in 2023, Tootie relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, to be closer to several of her children.

Tootie enjoyed square dancing, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She served as a den mother for several Brownie and Girl Scout groups alongside her daughters. She also volunteered for countless activities at her children’s school, including serving as the school librarian.

Together with her husband, Tom, she loved visiting their lakeside home, where she enjoyed her many birdhouses for chickadees and hummingbirds, fishing, boating, and playing card games. Her latest favorite was a game called “10’s,” which she learned to play after moving to Phoenix. Our times with her were filled with laughter and cherished memories.

Tootie was a loving mother to 5 children (bless her heart!): Sandy Schneider, Steve Yeoman, Dave Yeoman, Debbie Huber, and Roxanne Hutson. She was a proud grandmother to Matthew and Derek Schneider; Chris, Melissa, Scott, Ashley, and Nick Yeoman; Kevin and Renee Yeoman; Jennifer and Joey Huber; and Jessica Hutson. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Bella, Lily, James, Sam, Keely, Leo, Aurora

and Cooper.
