In Loving Memory…

Born in Mesa, Arizona, in 1983, Emily was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, cousin, auntie Em, and friend whose beauty and selflessness was matched only by her fierce love for those she loved, especially her sons, Jameson and Hendrix. Growing up, Emily’s sparkling smile and grace painted a masterpiece of God’s love for the world around her, both through her devotion to her family and friends and her passion for dance. As she got older, her only true desire was to one day be the best mom to her kids. She cultivated her extraordinary maternal heart first as an older sister, then as a children’s nurse, where she could brighten the darkest situation, and then by helping raise her two youngest brothers, Zander and Nix, who loved their precious “Emmy”.

When the Lord blessed Emily with two amazing sons, James and Henry became her entire world. The joy of being a mom to her sweet boys highlighted Em’s spiritual gifts of selflessness and sacrifice. Emily and the boys loved going on all types of adventures together, and she had a remarkable gift of making every day into a lasting memory for her boys. Her deep love for Jameson and Hendrix was the true measure of her life. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Emily is resting in the arms of Jesus.

Emily is survived by her parents, Nancy and Dave, her brother, Boomer (“Bri” to his sister) and her sister-in-law Brittney, brothers Nix and Zander, and her two sons, Jameson and Hendrix.

A Celebration Service for Emily will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 1:00pm in "The Bridge" at Compass Christian Church in Chandler, Arizona.
