Giuseppina Pino

September 3, 1961 — December 5, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Giuseppina “Pina” on Friday, December 5th, at 11:57 p.m. She was the eldest child of John and Pasqua Pino, born on September 3, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1981, she moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona, where she lived under the loving care of her parents and with the strong support of her sister and two brothers.

Pina grew up facing many medical challenges, yet she persevered with quiet strength and dignity. Though soft-spoken, she was strong-willed and never allowed her pain to overshadow the joy of being present for family milestones and celebrations. She found delight in mental brain teasers, crossword puzzles, and word search puzzles, always keeping her mind engaged and curious. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at the local casinos, where she was fortunate a few times. Musicals, movies, and music brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.

Deeply rooted in her Sicilian heritage, Pina carried forward the customs and traditions instilled by her grandparents. The family ethic was rich in those values, and she embodied them with devotion, especially in her immense love for her nieces and nephews. She had a special gift with children, sharing warmth, patience, and affection that left lasting impressions on all who knew her.

Pina, we love you and will never forget you. You are now with our Lord, free from pain. Please give a hug and kiss to Mom, your Godmother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and others we’ve lost over the years.

She is survived by her father John, siblings Seb (Kathy), Enza, and Anthony, who will continue to honor her memory and carry forward her legacy of kindness, perseverance, and cultural pride.
