Gloria Ann Snyder

Gloria Ann Snyder passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024. She was born on November 23, 1934 in Menominee, Michigan, and attended high school in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After graduation, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she attended college and was later employed in sales and modeling. While there she met and married her husband Dwight Snyder in 1955. They were later deployed to France and Germany with the U.S. Air Force. After three years in Europe, they returned to the U.S. and settled in Lincoln, Nebraska where they raised their three children; Laura, Susan, and Sam.

Gloria was active in her church and in various women’s organizations. She enjoyed travel, playing cards, skiing, racquet ball, golf, dancing and her children’s school and sporting activities. She was fond of babies, young children, and all animals.
 

After retirement Gloria and Dwight moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona where they acquired many friends and were actively involved in the community.

Gloria was a wonderful friend, a loving wife, and a caring and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, her three children, and her eight grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes, Arizona 85248 at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
