Gregory Paul Malachowski passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1945, in Buffalo, New York.
Gregory, known to many as “Ski”, proudly served in the Army from December 1965 to November 1967. After his military service, he held various jobs, including working in car sales and at Home Depot.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ski was always willing to lend a hand to help others. Most days you could find him out tinkering in his beautiful yard, planting various cactus plants, gardening and he even made Linda a gorgeous fountain. Woodworking was one of his favorite hobbies, where he found joy in making numerous pieces for their home and even for their cats. He was definitely a Jack of all trades. His pride in his work was evident when you saw it, just beautiful.
Gregory Malachowski is survived by his wife, Linda Moschgat; daughters, Dawn Malachowski and Eve Tagliarino; son-in-law, Jay Tagliarino; grandson, Dominic Tagliarino; stepdaughters, Stefanie Long and Mere Bradley of Nebraska; sister, Sandy Penn; brother, Jerry Malachowski; sister, Gail Taft, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Janet and Jerome Malachowski; sisters, Pat Giambra and Audry Clare.
A Ceremony to honor his life will be held on April 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie St, Chandler, AZ 85225 with a luncheon to follow. Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ is assisting with funeral arrangements.
