Guadalupe Barreto

Guadalupe Barreto born on April 14, 1938 in Mexicali, Baja California, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 in Chandler, Arizona where she resided for the last four years after living most of her life in California.

Lupe's kindness and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to caring for her family and always put others before herself. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting smell of her homemade meals.

Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Barreto. She is survived by her four children, Sandra Lepe; Carol Barreto; Juan Barreto, Jr; Lorena Moore and son-in-law, Corey Moore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian Lepe, Rudy Lepe, Christopher Alamos, Andrea Alamos, Nicolas Moore, Devin Moore and Hannah Barreto as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her strength, generosity, faith, and the way she made everyone feel loved and welcomed. Lupe leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and spirit will remain with us forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
