Helen Marie Udall

Helen Marie Udall was born in Kanab, Utah on July 25,1947 to Raymond Keith Udall and Gwendolyn Vivian Pace Udall and with her came magic, creativity, fun, intelligence, kindness, generosity and humor. She passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Gilbert, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Timothy Keith Grant.  Helen is survived by her four children, eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her children are Timothy Howard (Kim) Grant, Justin Joel (Callie) Grant, Jeremy (Jen) Grant and daughter Courtney (Jacob) Tenney. 

Helen attended elementary school and high school in St. Johns, Arizona.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree in education and was a gifted, favorite teacher in St. Johns School district for 28 years. As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she enjoyed serving in the Primary and Young Women programs.  Her wit, humor, laughter and happy ways were her trademark. With her passing, we know that heaven has become a happier place.  

Services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints downtown chapel, St. Johns, Arizona.
