Hubert C. Sprecher III

Hubert “Buzz” C. Sprecher III, 76, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on November 25, 2025.

Born on September 7, 1949, in Omaha, Nebraska, Buzz was the son of Hubert C. Sprecher Jr. and Patricia Sprecher. He grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Norfolk High School in 1967 before earning his degree from the University of Nebraska in 1971.

Buzz found his perfect match when he married Robin (Swanson) Sprecher on April 27, 1972. Their marriage was a true partnership—built on love, laughter, mutual devotion, and the simple joy of doing life together.

Buzz spent his career in Food Service Management, a field in which he brought dedication, reliability, and genuine care for the people he served and worked alongside.

A passionate sports fan, Buzz enjoyed following his favorite teams and sharing in the excitement of their successes. He also enjoyed listening to music, taking walks, and doing crosswords. He often had a joke to lighten the mood.

Buzz was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Patricia; and his brother-in-law, Rob Lassiter.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; his daughter, Sara (Sprecher) Carrington; his son-in-law Roy L. Carrington Jr.; his sisters, Gini (Charlie) Lange, and Geri Lassiter; and his brother, Doug (Gail) Sprecher. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

A memorial service honoring Buzz’s life will be held on January 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary; 14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler, Arizona 85225. 

Buzz will be remembered for his sense of humor, steady nature, and the love and loyalty he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on in the memories shared by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
