It is with great sadness the family of Ida Rodriguez announces her passing on September 29, 2022.

Ida was born December 20, 1944, to Hamed and Nezema George in Bainville Montana. She attended school in Harlem Montana graduating in 1962. She married John Monroe having two children: Rhonda and Kelly. Ida went to beauty school in Clinton Iowa, once she graduated, she wanted a fresh start and moved to Chandler Arizona along with two other families: Jack and Mirtha Fore, Bill and Norma Mabee. She opened a beauty shop in Sacaton and soon after that she took a job with an education center. She met and married Domingo Rodriguez and had two more sons: Domingo and Rick Rodriguez. She worked for United Building Center and then Safeway for over 30 years before retiring.

She was an active member of her HOA at the Haciendas, she loved her little community and everyone in it, they were like family to her.

Ida was a wonderful, hardworking mother, her kids always came first. She loved supporting her grandkids in their education and extracurricular activities, they were her pride and joy. She was an amazing seamstress and cook.

Ida was a very loving and giving person, if someone needed a ride to the doctor’s office or even to the store, she was always willing to help.

Her home was always open over the years to family and friends, and she was a life coach to all.

She loved to travel, she made countless trip to Montana and North Dakota to see family and friends, even made it to China, Egypt, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

Ida leaves behind her children Rhonda Monroe Fenner, Kelly Monroe, Domingo (Yvonne) Rodriguez and Rick (Lucy) Rodriguez, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and sisters Eva Dixon and Susie Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Irene George, Dorothy Dugdale, Rosie Carle, Marion Finn, Lillian Barrows, brothers; Omar Hamdan and Hamed Hamdan.
