It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Thomas Jeffers, lovingly known as “Tom,” on June 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on October 7th, 1950 to Helen K. Jeffers and James H. Jeffers, Tom was a simple man with a big heart who found joy in life’s quiet pleasures—fishing, caring for his dogs, tending to his bee hives, and above all, spending time with his family and friends. His kindness, loyalty, and love left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. His strength, humility, and dedication defined both his service and his life.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona; 2929 East Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024 on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
He is survived by his devoted sisters, Karen and Kathy Jeffers, and his beloved niece, Katie. He is deeply loved and will be forever missed.
