James Earl Roberts

Mr. James “Jim” Earl Roberts, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023, Gilbert, Arizona. Son of the late Earl James Roberts and Mabel Elizabeth (Harshman) Roberts, was born November 30, 1941, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

After graduating from High School, he joined the military, U.S. Air Force, served from the year 1963 to 1983. He was married to Macaria Dorado for 51 years. This union was blessed with 3 children, Imelda Alaniz, Chuck Roberts, and Christina Elizabeth Roberts.

Jim proudly served the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1983. He traveled the world and spent time stationed in Germany and the Philippines Islands. He was stationed at Williams Air Base, Arizona, moved with his family, lived and retired in Chandler, Arizona. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. His life revolved around his family and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.

He peacefully passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, Gilbert, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Macaria Dorado January 7, 2020, sisters; Carol Ann (Roberts) Sherry October 27, 2023, Marilyn (Roberts) Heinlein January 19,2002. He is survived by his 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and his impact to his family and friends. He was a great provider, leader and a voice of wisdom to his children and grandchildren. He was a fair and stern father who was the voice of reason and did all for his family.

A visitation will be held at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 West Hulet Drive Chandler, AZ 85225 on Thursday November 30, 2023 from 5-7pm.
