Jamiere Dewayne Jenkins

October 11, 2006 — November 28, 2023

In the lively city of Denver, Colorado, Jamiere Dewayne Jenkins made his grand debut on October 11, 2006, to the proud parents, Shanay Lavender and Antell Jenkins. As the tiny bundle of joy entered the world, there were tears of happiness and uncontainable emotions. But wait, there’s more! Jamiere wasn’t alone – he brought his twin sister, Ajanay, along for the wild ride! Double the love, double the joy…double the trouble.

As a child, Jamiere found his passion early in life and developed a love for sports, especially football. At the age of 5, Jamiere took his love for football and headed towards the gridiron, dominating the fields. Jamiere’s journey through the halls of knowledge began in the hallowed grounds of Global Village Academy elementary school, and from there his quest for wisdom carried him to Combs High School in San Tan, Arizona where he mastered sportsmanship on the Combs football team.

Jamiere was a young man who was full of life, laughter, and love, especially for his family! Family was everything to him and making his family proud was his goal. He walked into life determined to succeed in every area, when it came to the reverence he had for Jesus. He found pride in all he did and set out to accomplish every goal. Jamiere understood his passions, desires, and dedication, and with qualities as such, he took his job at Wendy’s seriously understanding the end goal, that responsibility was the key that would unlock the doors to his future. Although Jamiere is no longer with us in the physical, his spirit will forever live on. Even though Jamiere has transcended the physical realm, his spirit shall forever live. Though his earthly sojourn was brief, the luminescence of his being kindled a fire and a memorable impact in the hearts of all those who crossed his path.

Jamiere is preceded in death by his father Antell Jenkins, grandmother (Granny) Loretta Sanderson, great grandmother Ruby Williams and aunt Laquandra Lavender.

Jamiere leaves to forever cherish his memory, his mother Shanay Lavender, and twin sister Ajanay Jenkins, Marquarius Grady, Sahmiere Jenkins, Tremaine Jenkins, Daniel, Trevyon Jenkins. Grandparents Sharon Caldwell and Floyd Sr., Uncle Floyd Jr., Sylvester and his girlfriend Alyssa Espinosa. Jamiere was loved by all and will forever be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
