Janet Yost Kilgore

Janet Yost Kilgore of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. Janet was born on November 6, 1954, in Goshen, Indiana, to Donald and Alice Yost. 

Janet graduated from Kankakee Valley High School in Wheatfield, Indiana, in 1973. On March 2, 1990, she married Tom Kilgore. She was a devoted mother to her son, Tony Deerberg, and a loving stepmother to Nick Kilgore. Janet was also a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Janet’s greatest passion in life was her deep and abiding love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She courageously shared her faith with family, friends, and all those she encountered. It was her heartfelt desire that everyone come to know Him personally and experience His love.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers. She is survived by her three sisters.

Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be remembered for her faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those around her.
