Jason Dale Dahlgren

departed this world on 5/23/2018 at, Chandler Regional Hospital, in Chandler, AZ, formerly of Elmhurst, IL and LaPorte, IN, with his wife, Heather Brennan, by his side.  Jason was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Dale Dahlgren, and leaves behind, his mother, Audrey Dahlgren [nee Fleischhauer], together with six siblings, and a step-daughter, Delanie Laycock.

Jason was born and raised in Elmhurst, IL, attended York Community HS, and settled down with his high school sweetheart, Mary Dahlgren [nee Griffin]after graduating.  They had three beautiful children, Jason Dahlgren, Jr., Alexis Dahlgren [“Squirt”], Samuel Dahlgren.  Later, he had a long term relationship with Jessica Bruno, and had Oliver Dahlgren.  Jason frequently bragged about each of his children, and wished he could do more for them while he was here.  Now, he will be able to protect them all from wherever he is.  He married Heather Brennan in October of 2016, and they left Illinois in 2017, to have a new start.

He was an auto mechanic from the time he started playing around with cars with his dad as a young boy, and continued through the rest of his life.  He often spoke of his dad teaching him how to be good with his hands, and how he admired him.  Jason was creative, intelligent, loyal, witty, and most of all, kind.  He was the gentlest soul, which often led him to be hurt easily.

He was loved by anyone that had the pleasure of meeting, unfortunately, he didn’t see it.  I will miss his tenderness, his great humor, the giant smile everyone talks about, and his beautiful blue eyes, as they were truly the window to his soul.

There will be a Memorial celebrating Jason’s, unfortunately, short, yet impactful life, at the home he shared with his wife, at 968 E Baylor Ln, Chandler, AZ 85225, on June 30, 2018, at 4:30 p.m.  Anyone that was blessed to know him, is welcome to come and share, I’m sure, a funny story.
