, 81, Born December 10th, 1940 in Kansas City MO. passed away in his home in Sun Lakes Arizona on April 12th 2022 from a short battle of pancreatic cancer.  Jerry was raised in Kansas by his mother Ione.  He graduated from Wichita high school and attended Wichita State where he got his degree in criminal justice. Jerry spent most of his career as a human resource manager at Boeing in Washington State.  He retired after 37+ years with Boeing and moved to Arizona to be close to his daughter and grandchildren.  He loved police work and volunteered as a reserve officer in his spare time working for the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Dept and King County Sheriff’s Dept while residing in California and Washington State.

Jerry had an adventurous spirit and had many passions and hobbies including cars, motorcycles, boats, scuba diving, flying planes, skydiving .  He was an avid Seahawks Football fan.  He loved watching his grandsons Brandt & Cole play football growing up over the years and never missed a game.  Always cheering from the sidelines with his megaphone and siren and an occasional cowbell too!

He was preceded in death by his mother Ione Marie Hill and father Francis “Frank” Bartley Collins & brother Thomas Charles Collins.

Jerry was a devoted and loving Father, Son, Brother, Grandfather & Friend to all.  He will be deeply missed by his daughter Jennifer Collins-Gooodwin, son-in-law Jason Goodwin,  two grandsons Brandt & Cole Goodwin and all of his friends.

He will be laid to rest next to his mother, brother and grandparents on Saturday April 30th, 2022 at the Harper KS Cemetery.
