Jessie Cruz Raley

Jessie was a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a man who had very strong faith in the lord, prayed over the sick and people in need. In 1976 he married Margarita Raley for 49 yrs and raised their children who he loved and dedicated his life for. He also loved his pets. Jessie retired from the City of Chandler where he worked for 38 yrs and gained many friends. His hobbies were planting roses, fishing and hunting. After retirement he continued to spend time with his family which this time included his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a person with a big heart who welcomed those who crossed his path. His personality and smile will truly be missed but will always remain in our hearts and mind!

He was preceded in death by his father Jess Clark Raley; mother Theresa Maria Santiago; daughter Maria Elisa Nabor; two sisters, Celia Carrillo and Natalie Lopez and brother Jose Moreno.

He is survived by his wife Margarita Raley; 4 daughters, Rita Raley (Esdin), Victoria (Julian) Alvarez, April (John) Othon and Lydia Raley; son Jess Raley; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ruben Moreno, Jesse Raley and Jimmy Raley and 7 sisters, Frances (David) Marquez, Carmen (Jerry) Kaizen, Jennie Moreno, Blanca (Javier) Yniguez, Soccorro Moreno, Jackie (Hector) Valencia and Judy (Fernando) Moreno.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 9:30 am at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3200 S. Cooper Road, Chandler, AZ 85286 with Interment to follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248. His Celebration of Life will follow Interment from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at Tumbleweed Park, 745 E. Germann Road, Chandler, AZ 85248.
