Jesusita Padilla

Jesusita Padilla, 79, of Chandler, AZ passed away on March 31, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Presidio, Texas on June 3, 1943, but lived in Chandler her entire life.

Jesusita was inspired by many family members.  She worked at the DeMarcos gift shop in the Sky Harbor Airport as a cashier for approximately 15 years. She later retired as an Owner/Operator of a Commercial & Residential Cleaning Service.

Jesusita loved her family and employees. She comforted everyone, no matter who they were and where they came from.  She loved God, shared the Gospel, was very compassionate and had a heart of gold.

Jesusita was preceded in death by her mother Elisa Gomez, the father of her children Ernesto Carranza; daughters Gloria Sublasky and Ida Garcia; son Ernest Conrad Carranza Jr.; grandchildren Moses Cantu Jr., Fernando Carranza Jr., and Gabriel Jaime Carranza and her late husband Francisco Padilla.

She will be missed by her children: Susie & Rudy Lara, Fernando & Lori Carranza, Anita & Sam Cantu and Michelle Carranza.

siblings: Ismael & Gloria Gutierrez, Helario & Ofelia Gutierrez, Nancy & Pancho Martinez and Margaret & Andy Ledesma.

Also, she will be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many relatives in Arizona, California and Texas.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Chapel, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85204.
