Joseph Wythe Wilkinson

Joseph Wythe Wilkinson, age 97, died on December 22, 2023. He was a long-term resident of Tempe, Arizona. A Graveside Service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

He served as a Professor of Accountancy at Arizona State University in Tempe from 1964 until his retirement in 1996.

Joseph Wythe Wilkinson was born on October 17, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Atkinson Wilkinson and Grace Bryan Wythe. He married Sharon Rochelle Finberg of Decorah, Iowa in 1964 and they made their permanent home in Tempe, Arizona.

Survivors include sons Mark (Yi) Wilkinson of San Francisco, California and Eric (Gayle) Wilkinson of Eagle, Idaho, and six grandchildren. His wife Sharon and son Tod Wilkinson, of Tempe, Arizona preceded him in death.
