Joseph Timothy Wolfe

Joseph Timothy Hock Wolfe age 82, entered Heaven’s gate on September 28, 2025. Born in Meadville, PA, on March 1, 1943, to Martin and Virginia Hock and later adopted by his grandparents Roland and Peggy Wolfe.

Joseph moved to Phoenix in 1953, where he attended Grace Court grade school, before graduating from Phoenix Union High School in 1961. He went on to attend Phoenix College for 2 years. Joseph worked for Oscar Mayer for 17 years, where he drove the Wienermobile to special events on occasion with Little Oscar. He went on to work at Arctic Storage for many years and ended his career at Home Depot.

Joseph loved to race go-carts at Manzanita and PIR in the 60’s and 70’s, later he would drive his cherished 1946 blue Chevy that he came to Arizona in. He loved going to car shows, where he won many trophies. He also loved spending his summers at their cabin in Flagstaff.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Patty Valdez and Katie Waite, brothers; Martin and Fred Hock, and his beloved dog Lassie.

He is survived by his wife Diane of 45 years, children; Kimberly (Kevin) Borchardt, Brenda Zacharias, Warner (Shannon) Coombe, JoAnn (Steve) Zacharias, his 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, his sister Virginia Korn, and many nieces and nephews.
