Juan Angel Trujillo Jr.

Juan Angel Trujillo Jr., age 52, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Juan was born in El Centro, California, and raised in Calexico, California, where he developed the strong values of faith, service, hard work, and dedication that would guide him throughout his life.

A proud member of the Calexico High School Class of 1992, Juan answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He honorably served three years on active duty and an additional seven years in the Army Reserve.

Following his military service, Juan attended The University of Texas at El Paso, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. He began his federal law enforcement career with the United States Border Patrol, serving for three years before joining the United States Marshals Service. Juan dedicated the next twenty years of his life as a Deputy U.S. Marshal, faithfully serving and protecting others until his retirement in 2023.

Committed to lifelong learning, Juan earned a Master of Science degree from Sul Ross State University and later a Master of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix.

Above all else, Juan’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend whose strength, wisdom, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew him. He shared a beautiful marriage of 25 years with his beloved wife, Margarita Jimenez Trujillo. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

Juan is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Trujillo; his son, Angel Roberto Trujillo; his daughters, Sahra Trujillo, Lourdes Trujillo, and Vida Trujillo; his stepmother, Alicia Trujillo; his brothers, Esteban Trujillo, Gabriel Trujillo, and Ricardo Carrera; his sister, Alicie Trujillo; and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Angel Trujillo Sr., and his mother, Guadalupe Carrera.

Juan will be remembered for his quiet strength, his commitment to serving others, his deep love for his family, and his steadfast faith in God. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston Street, Chandler, Arizona.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary.
