Julia Myrna Heiskell
, a resident of the Generations Agritopia home, died Friday the 12th of October at her daughter, Janice’s, home in Chandler.
Born in 1935 in Lima, Peru, Myrna attended an American school and as a young woman, she worked at the ExxonMobil refinery in Talara, Peru as a Personal Assistant to the Manager. Here she met her husband, Glenn R. Heiskell and married him in October 1958. They had 4 children and lived in Colombia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Aruba, Georgia, Kansas, and Arizona.
Myrna was a loving mother and wife, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed deeply by all those whose lives she touched. She enjoyed a good card game and any craft project she could share with friends and family. She was an exceptionally warm person who genuinely cared for those in her life and always took the time to listen and share in the joys and sorrows of all the people who were lucky to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn, and her children Brenda, Janice, Martin and Steven, and her grandchildren, Morgan, Mara, Cameron, Mariella, Nicolas, Gabriella, Kevin, Matthew and Ryan, and her great grand-daughter, Mae Louise.
A mass will be celebrated in her memory on Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00am at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St, Chandler, AZ 85225.
The Bueler Chandler Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements.
