Kathryn Lois Clark Lambson, age 98, passed away peacefully at home in Chandler, Arizona, with family by her side on April 20, 2026.
Lois, as she was known by her whole life, was born in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, on October 2, 1927, to William Henderson Clark and Maggie Lou Fullerton. As a young girl, she later moved with her family to Arizona in the mid-1930’s, her family relocating from the effect of the Dust Bowl. As a younger woman, she was employed by Motorola, Inc., retiring as a Quality Control Manager after a 30-year career. Her impeccable work ethic is something she passed on to her children. She cherished time spent with family, making beautiful clothes for her children and grandchildren, growing any type of plant (especially her roses), doing all forms of crafting, creating all manner of embroidery items, and her signature specialty was making quilts. The crowning glory for Lois was her eight children and numerous posterity. She was a loving and strong example for them, as they were the central focus of her life.
Lois is survived by her children, David (Laura), James (Karen), Connie Schwarz (Calvin), Terral (Catherine), Gail (Dianne), Dawn Lambson, Carmen Estes (Steven) and Rebecca Tibbetts (Brent), 35 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), 6 great-great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), brother D. Paul Clark and sister Fayrene Clark Reese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Michael Terrance Lambson, daughter-in-law Dianne Lambson, brother Lincoln Clark and sister June Clark Rhodes.
