It is profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother and grandmother Kim, who left this world on May 16, 2026, surrounded by love.
Born on October 7, 1958, Kim was the heart of our family — our safe place, our comfort, our biggest supporter, and the person we could always count on no matter the hour. She worried endlessly, loved fiercely, and somehow always knew exactly what to say when we needed her most.
She filled rooms with warmth, laughter, stories, music, and love. Whether baking for someone she loved, planning the next trip or concert, or simply sitting and talking for hours, she made ordinary moments feel special.
More than anything, she loved her family. Being a mom and “Gigi” brought her the greatest joy in life, and the love she gave so freely will remain with us forever. Though our hearts are shattered, we take comfort knowing her love will continue to guide us with memories we will hold forever.
She is survived by her loving husband Brad, children Amanda and Erik, beloved granddaughters, mother Amalia, sister Marci, brothers Bobby and Kenny and many family members and friends who loved her deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clauson home on Friday, June 5, 2026, with a second celebration in San Diego at the Biesel home on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
We will miss her every single day.
