Larry Thomas Rhodes
was born November 25th, 1954, to Fred and Sarah Rhodes in Camden Arkansas. Larry was educated in the Arkansas school system. After graduating from Camden Fairview high school, he attended the Henderson state University where he majored in music.
Larry had a natural gift for music and studied from the age of 5 years old.
Larry played piano for several choirs his outspoken manner was appreciated by many who knew and loved and loved him.
Larry re-located to Phoenix Arizona in 2007 and was employed by a security company as a guard for several years. While in living in Phoenix he played for many churches in the area he was more than proficient on the piano, organ, and keyboard. He brought joy to the hearts of many with his music.
Larry attended the Greater Saint Luke’s Powerhouse under the leadership of Robert Overstreet. On May 23rd, 2022, Larry left to be with the Lord. Larry’s parents preceded him in death; he leaves to celebrate his life, five (5) sisters and one brother. Mrs. Edna Cooper, Winterfred (Johnnie) Braggs, Vickie White, Vanessa (Joey) Braggs; all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ernestine Johnson, and Bill Rhodes both of Gilbert, Arizona and a host of other relatives and friends.
