Latissia (Tish) Morris, and Aden Morris
passed away on April 16
th
and 17
th,
2021, as the result of a car accident they were both involved in. In life they were inseparable, in death their love for each other is now eternal. Tish as she was affectionately known, was born May 23, 1982, in Roswell, NM. From a young age, it was obvious that Tish had a special gift of helping and caring for people. Her heart looked for every cause, and every opportunity to serve and bless the lives of her family and friends. When her son Aden came into her life, her gift found a constant outlet for her love and caring. Tish was never without Aden, and Aden was never without Tish! Tish never went anywhere that she did not immediately create friends. Not just one friend, but many friends. However, all of her friends will tell you that she treated them as if they were the best friend she had. She was the creator of the Non-Profit Arizona Race Foundation, dedicated to helping kids get into racing and staying out of trouble. She was a Respiratory therapist for 14 years serving hundreds of people in their time of great need. If Tish could be described in one word, it would most likely be “Family”. Whether it was her close relationship with her son Aden, and her husband Tony, or her extended family which included church and racing “brothers and sisters”, she treasured these relationships and gave them all her utmost love. Tish was a woman of faith and devotion. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and truly lived the commandment to “love one another”.
With a mother like Tish, Aden had the best start in life that any young man could want. Aden was born on September 21
st
, 2005 in Mesa, Arizona. From the start, it was easy for anyone to see that the greatest resemblance between mother and son was their contagious smile! Rarely if ever, would you find Aden without his trademark smile. Aden was a driven young man that loved racing cars, playing football, and fishing and hunting. He always tried to be the best at everything he did. Aden also had a sense of humor to match his amazing smile. Aden and his grandfather Bud had a very tight relationship, and he was given the nickname of “Little boogie” by him because of one of Aden’s trademark dance moves. While Aden’s time on earth was short, the impact that his life had on so many will be felt for years to come. There will never come a day, an hour, even a minute that we stop loving, and thinking about Tish and Aden, and the example of pure love that they each shared with us.
Tish and Aiden are survived by their Husband and father Tony Morris of the home. Also surviving them are extended family members Bud, Todd, Terri, Eddie, Hailey, and Mark Hamblen, along with Jarred, Justin, and Andrew Downs. Also mourning their loss, are the extended Church and Racing communities who are honored to have been considered part of their “family”.
