Lorna J Millbourn

Lorna J. Millbourn, age 66, passed away on October 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

Lorna was born on February 23, 1960, to the late Charles and Nettie Stanley. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Wright State University. She worked as a registered nurse in Ohio for many years before becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP). 

Following this achievement, Lorna relocated to New Mexico and eventually settled in Arizona, where she had lived since 2019. Throughout her career as a nurse practitioner, she cared for countless patients while working at urgent care centers. She was known for her dedication to her patients.

 In her free time, Lorna cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also dearly loved her dogs, Emmy, Saturn, and Dusty. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nettie Stanley; her son, Samuel Millbourn; her brothers, Jerry Stanley, Danny Stanley, and Steve Stanley; and her sister, Sue Stanley. 

She is survived by her husband, Mark Millbourn; her son, Joshua Carter (Jacqueline); her daughter, Rachel Brown; her grandchildren, Jonah, Ellie, Penelope, and Lennox; and her sister, Cheryl Branam (Ray). 

Lorna was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took great pride in her nursing career. However, her greatest accomplishment and deepest joy were always her family, whom she loved dearly.
