Lynette June Smith Conley (Lyne)

Lynette June Smith Conley (Lyne), age 66, passed away on September 17th, 2023 after a four-year battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Frank Conley. Surviving siblings are, Steven Smith of Lynnville, Indiana and Michael Smith of Evansville, Indiana.

Lyne was born on June 27th, 1957 in Evansville, Indiana, the third and last child of Robert C. Smith and Gloria France Smith. She grew up in Boonville, Indiana, and attended Boonville Public schools, graduating from Boonville High School in 1975. She attended Oakland City College for a year, and was voted runner-up, May Day Queen in 1976. In 1977 she met Frank Conley, and they married in June 1978. In her words, “The adventure began”, and they never looked back. They lived in San Diego, CA, Atlanta, GA, and settled in Gilbert, AZ (near Phoenix) 20 years ago.
