Marjorie Jean Wetmore

Marge was born in Hudson Colorado on April 15,1931. She passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 94 in Phoenix, AZ. She grew up in San Angelo Texas. 

In 1950 she married a young airman, Allen Wetmore. They were married for 43 years and had five children. Marge was dedicated to her family and supported her children in their dreams and creative pursuits. She was always active in whatever community they lived in. 

She loved learning and helping others grow and learn. In the late 70s Marge opened a quilt shop. Her passion was quilting and sharing that love of quilting with others.

While her Life was often fluctuating and demanding in many ways, she was always passionate, caring and a truly giving person.

Marge is preceded by her Husband Allen Wetmore and her oldest son, Lee Wetmore.

 She is survived by her sons Tim Wetmore, Larry Wetmore and two Daughters Terri Speigner (Martell Speigner) and Jean Kerr (Ken Kerr), Daughter in law, Gloria Wetmore, 12 grandkids and 11 great grand kids, and her beloved sister Charlotte Wilson. 

While we are grieving the loss of the mainstay of our life, we are grateful to have had her in our Lives.

A service will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary; 14 W. Hulet Drive Chandler, AZ 85225.
