Krepela, Mary Katherine Baldwin

Mary Katherine Baldwin Krepela passed away September 15, 2016 in Chandler, Arizona.  She was born in Mount Union, Pennsylvania July 16, 1920 to Nell Ross Appleby Baldwin and Charles H. Baldwin.  She attended Lock Haven Teachers College, and during World War II  worked for the John R. Wald Company, a defense plant, manufacturing bomb nose fuses.  At the end of the war she came to Chandler, Arizona and worked at a Home and Auto store until August 3rd, 1946, when she married Earl M. Krepela.  Earl passed away in 2001.  They were blessed with four daughters, Carolyn Addie (David), Katherine Blech (Michael), Jean Langston (Jerry), and Susan Krepela.  Mary has five grandsons, Matthew Blech, Joseph Blech, Sam Langston, Tom Langston, Jason Addie and 7 great grandchildren. She is a charter member of the Chandler Presbyterian Church and served there as a Deacon.  She is a member of P.E.O. and also belonged to Eastern Star. She has two sisters, Ann Taylor of Pittsburgh, PA and Martha Cox of State College, PA. A memorial service will be held at Bueler’s Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ  85014, would be appreciated, for all the love and care they gave Mary and her family.
