Pastor Charles Edward Williams

December 16, 1949 — June 12, 2025

Pastor Charles Edward Williams, 75, transitioned peacefully on June 12, 2025, surrounded by love. He was born on December 16, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to the union of Doris and Irene Williams both of whom preceded him in death, along with his brothers Sonny Williams, Doris Williams Jr. and Michael Williams.

In 1977, under the discipleship of Dr. Tahressa Martin at Divine Trinity Church in Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Charles came to know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom He sent. His faith journey was deeply rooted in the study of the Word of Truth, prayer and holiness. This transformative experience led him into evangelistic ministry, where he passionately shared the gospel for many years.

His professional journey led him to Arizona, where he pursued a career in respiratory therapy. He later joined Sonora Quest Lab, dedicating 35 years of service to the company. He worked diligently in respiratory care before transitioning into histology, building lasting relationships with colleagues and those he served. His strong work ethic and love for his profession reflected his commitment to excellence and service.

Seeking continued spiritual growth, Pastor Charles became a member of AZUSA World Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Alfred Craig Sr., where he was taught the principles of faith and how to walk in them. It was here that he met Frances J. Williams, whom he married on December 18, 1999. Together, they attended Ministry Training Institute (MTI), further strengthening their foundation in faith.

When Dr. Craig Sr. established AZUSA Scottsdale, Pastor Charles was appointed as Assistant Pastor to Timothy Craig. Then, under divine instruction, Pastor Charles was led to establish Dominion Life Worship Center—a ministry dedicated to teaching believers about the dominion Jesus Christ provided through His finished work of redemption and how to worship in the beauty of holiness.

Pastor Charles also sought wisdom and revelation through Dr. Bill Winston’s Faith Conferences at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinois. His hunger for truth led him to become a member of Faith Ministry Alliance (FMA) and a ministry partner, further deepening his commitment to the work of the kingdom. He was later ordained by Dr. Bill Winston, affirming his lifelong calling to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Recognizing a great need within the body of Christ, Pastor Charles was deeply impressed by the Holy Spirit with a mandate to disciple believers—ensuring they were firmly rooted in the Word of Truth, prayer and holiness. In the last several years of his life, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to teaching the importance of true discipleship, equipping believers to walk in the authority and dominion given through Christ. His calling to nurture and strengthen the body of Christ led him to host annual discipleship conferences, where he poured out wisdom, revelation and unwavering love for the people of God. His passion for discipleship was not simply a ministry—it was his life's work, a divine assignment that shaped his message and profoundly impacted all who sat under his teaching.

Pastor Charles had a true love for the Word of God, the Church and people; and, he devoted his life to sharing the gospel with unwavering passion.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Frances J. Williams, who faithfully walked alongside him in love and ministry. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Norris Williams (Alberta Williams) of Tucson, Arizona, as well as, his three sons from a previous marriage, Kevin Williams, Dedrick Williams and Terrence Williams.

Additionally, he leaves cherished memories with Frances’ two sons from a previous marriage, Dale D. Mitchell, Jr. and Daniel D. Mitchell, with whom he shared a warm relationship over the years. His love and wisdom will continue to shine through his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, faith and unwavering commitment to the Word of God.
