Patricia Joan Cieslak

Patricia “Joan” Cieslak, 83 of Chandler, AZ, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 9, 1940, to Micheal and Margaret Wiltzius. 

Joan will best be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother. You couldn’t ask for a better friend than Joan. She was a dedicated bingo player, spurring to many well-known phrases such as “never leave home without a back up dauber”. She also loved to spend time in the North Woods of Wisconsin. 

Being the bright and energetic woman that she was, Joan will be remembered for many different things, such as her incredible cooking skills, baking ability, and for being an entertainer extraordinaire. Perhaps her greatest joy, being a devoted dog mom to Beanie. 

Joan is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Margaret Wiltzius, brother John, sister Noreen, sister-in-law Mary Willocks, and her oldest son Stephen. 

She survived by her husband and best friend Paul Cieslak, daughter Kathy (Ken) Steorts, Danny (Julie) Cieslak, and Paulie Cieslak. As well as her grandchildren; Meagan Keith (Mark), Grace, Angelic, Daniel, Ryan, Jessica Fullerton (Johnny), JP, Nick, Jenn Christie (Drew), Emily Edgemon (R.J.) and six great grandchildren. Her brother Tom Wiltzius (Pat) and sister-in-law Pat Wiltzius plus 2 nieces & 7 nephews. 

Joan will be deeply missed by all who loved her. 

Please join her family in celebrating the wonderful life Joan lived at a memorial service at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive Chandler, AZ 85225 on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
