Preston James Asher, born January 18, 2001, in Phoenix, Arizona, brought energy, laughter, and heart into every space he entered. From the time he was young, Preston was a spirited and rambunctious child who found joy in sports, video games, and the simple happiness of spending time with his little brother, Hudson, and his beloved dog, Stitch. His enthusiasm for life was unmistakable, and it followed him into every chapter that came after.
During his years at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Preston shined as a dedicated athlete, competing in both Track and Football. His determination, talent, and team spirit made him a valued part of the Husky community. That passion carried him to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he continued his athletic journey as a member of the Track and Field Team, building friendships and memories that stayed with him.
After college, Preston returned to Arizona and made his home in Mesa. He took pride in his work as a General Manager at Subway, where his leadership, kindness, and work ethic made a lasting impression on those around him. Outside of work, Preston’s creativity and warmth came alive in the kitchen—he was an amazing cook who loved preparing meals for the people he cared about. Whether he was gaming with friends, relaxing with his dog Stella, working on his 350Z or sharing a great meal with family, Preston found joy in connection, comfort, and togetherness.
Preston’s life was filled with love - love he gave freely and love he received deeply. His family and friends will forever remember his humor, his loyalty, his generous heart, and the light he brought into their lives.
Preston is survived by his parents, Kevin & Wendy Asher, his brother, Hudson Asher and his grandparents, Chuck & Charlene Wikstrom and David and Pamela Asher.
