Roland “Chino” Vasquez Leyvas, born July 6, 1966, in Chandler, Az, entered into eternal rest on Feb. 19, 2021, in Chandler.
Chino is survived by his mother, Andrea Leyvas of Chandler, brother, Roddy Leyvas, sister Lita Leyvas, many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. Chino was preceded in death by his father, Alejandro Leyvas.
Chino was a very loving outgoing person, with a big heart and a smile to match. He loved his family, and his family loved him twice as much. He loved cooking and baking and having Sunday dinners with family. He loved decorating for the holidays, especially his many different themed Christmas trees.
A viewing will be held at Bueler Mortuary on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Parish in Chandler on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 11:00 am. Burial will be private to family only at a later date.
